Privacy Notice

Last updated: June 2026. This is a practical privacy notice for Detegere's early-access product. It will be updated as the product moves from early access to broader customer use.

1. Overview

Detegere is an Operational Intelligence Platform for manufacturing teams. It helps organizations see what changed in their operations, why it matters, what was tried, and what should be remembered.

We collect only the information needed to provide the service, respond to interest, and operate the product safely. This notice explains what that information is and how we handle it.

2. Information We Collect

Public contact and interest submissions

When you submit a contact form or register your interest through our public pages, we collect:

  • Name (optional)
  • Email address (required)
  • Company name (optional)
  • Message or notes (optional)
  • Which page you submitted from and the nature of your interest

Account information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Organization name and membership
  • Role within your organization
  • Authentication credentials — passwords are stored as one-way cryptographic hashes, not in readable form

Customer operational data

When you use Detegere to manage your operations, you may upload and generate data including:

  • Datasets and uploaded CSV files
  • KPI definitions, values, and targets
  • Operational nodes and facility structure
  • Alerts and threshold configurations
  • Events and operational annotations
  • Improvements and action records
  • Reports and analysis outputs

This operational data belongs to you. We process it to provide the Detegere service.

Technical and security information

We maintain security and operational audit logs that may record:

  • IP addresses (for login security and rate limiting)
  • Browser and client information
  • Login events and security-relevant actions
  • Error diagnostics if error tracking is configured

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Detegere platform
  • Respond to contact and early-access requests
  • Create and manage user accounts and organizations
  • Process uploaded operational data and generate product outputs
  • Maintain platform security and protect against abuse
  • Diagnose errors and improve the product

4. Customer Operational Data

Customer operational data — including uploaded datasets, KPI values, facility configurations, and any analysis outputs — belongs to the customer. Detegere processes this data to deliver the service.

Customer data is scoped to each organization. One organization's data is not accessible to another organization.

The product demo uses separate, purpose-built sample data. Real customer data is not used in public demo pages.

Detegere is a decision-support tool. Outputs — including alerts, root cause views, reports, and operational summaries — are meant to inform human judgment, not replace it. You remain responsible for your operational decisions and actions.

5. Public Contact and Interest Submissions

When you submit a contact form or register your interest through our public pages, we store your submission to follow up with you directly about Detegere. This is a response to your specific request — not a general marketing list. We will not sell or share your contact information with unrelated third parties.

Our contact and interest forms include an optional, unchecked checkbox to receive occasional Detegere product updates or future guide material. This checkbox is separate from submitting the form — you can submit without checking it. If you check it, your consent is recorded with the version of the text shown to you at that time. You can withdraw that consent by contacting us through the Contact page.

If you would like your submission removed, you can request deletion by contacting us through the Contact page. We do not currently offer self-serve lead deletion — this is a known limitation we are working to address.

6. Email Communications

Detegere does not currently operate an automated email program. If you submit your email through a public form, a member of our team may follow up with you directly about Detegere and any content you expressed interest in.

If you separately checked the optional marketing consent checkbox on a form, that consent is recorded as a basis for receiving occasional product updates or guide material. No automated emails are sent at this time. Before we launch any broader commercial email program, we will implement appropriate identification, and unsubscribe handling.

7. Data Retention

We keep information as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, respond to requests, maintain security records, and support your account. Formal retention periods are a known readiness item we are working to define. If you would like to discuss your data, contact us through the Contact page.

8. Data Deletion and Export

Customers can export individual datasets as CSV files within the product. Full organization-level data export is not yet available.

If you would like to request deletion of your account, organization data, or public contact submission, please reach out through the Contact page. We do not yet offer self-serve deletion for all data types — this is a known limitation we are working to address.

9. Service Providers

Detegere uses the following third-party service providers to operate the platform:

  • Render — hosting infrastructure and managed PostgreSQL database. Customer data is stored on Render's infrastructure.
  • Sentry — optional error tracking. If enabled, exception data may be sent to Sentry. Sentry is disabled by default and is not currently configured in production.

We do not use third-party analytics providers on the public site or in the product. We do not use AI providers that receive your customer data.

10. Security

Detegere uses technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold. These include encrypted data transmission, cryptographic password hashing, organization-scoped data access controls, rate limiting, and security event logging.

No system can be guaranteed fully secure. We are actively developing our security and incident response practices as the product matures.

11. Security Incidents

We are developing incident-response procedures for detecting, triaging, and communicating security events. If a security incident affects your data, we will notify you in a reasonable and timely manner. Formal breach notification procedures are a known readiness item in progress.

12. Children and Minors

Detegere is an enterprise platform intended for business and manufacturing use. It is not directed at children or minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

13. Changes to This Notice

We may update this privacy notice as the product evolves, as we add features or service providers, or to reflect legal and operational changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions.

14. Contact

If you have questions about this privacy notice or how we handle your information, please reach out through the Contact page.
